These terms govern your use of the LeyMX app. By using LeyMX, you agree to them. We’ve kept them short and readable.
License to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use LeyMX on your devices for your own legal research. The app and its design are ours; the underlying legal texts are public domain (see attribution below).
Not legal advice
LeyMX is a consultation and search tool. It provides the text of the law and helps you find it, but it does not provide legal advice, does not create an attorney–client relationship, and does not replace a qualified lawyer. Always verify against an official source and consult a professional for your specific situation.
Accuracy of the texts
We work to keep the legal texts accurate and current, sourcing them from the Cámara de Diputados. Laws change, and errors can occur in any compilation. We make no warranty that the texts are complete, current, or error-free, and the official publication always prevails.
The on-device assistant
The assistant is a convenience that summarizes and points to articles. Its responses can be incomplete or wrong, like any automated tool. Treat its answers as a starting point to be verified against the cited articles — never as a definitive legal conclusion.
Public-domain content attribution
The legal texts in LeyMX are official Mexican federal laws in the public domain, obtained from the Cámara de Diputados (diputados.gob.mx). LeyMX is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any government body.
Purchases
LeyMX Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Apple under the App Store terms. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Refunds are handled by Apple according to its policies.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LeyMX and its developer are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app or the assistant. The app is provided “as is.”
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
